How can technology create literate local and global citizens?
Answer:
Implementing technology into the classroom can create many opportunities for students. Technology can open many doors for students and connect them to people, ideas, and places that may have not found in a textbook. The use of technology has allowed my students to participate in cultural exchanges, take action in their local community, improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary development, and display their creativity. Without access to technology, students would not be able to actively improve their 21st century skills and teachers would not be able to provide authentic, challenging learning experiences.
