Creating Global Citizens
Dr John Lee's course ECI 524-Theory and Research in Global Learning allowed me to further my interests in global education. Throughout the course, I created two documents that helped synthesize my ideas of global education, as well as compare the United States education system to other countries across the globe. My personal philosophy of global education helped me combine my many interests in global learning, as well as broaden my understanding of global education. My comparative education study compared education systems in the United States, China, and Japan.
Completing this comparative study allowed me to research how each country supports their education systems, curriculum in that particular country, and future goals for education.
